Our counselor is an Italian-American, not only he is Buddhist but he is super fun.
He has alot of passion for his work(working Mon-Sat 10-10) and reminds me of my good friend Jason Chan!

The session is really fun and helpful.
What I learnt is to deal with conflicts and the model of a marriage.
What I also realize is to learn to find a way to work this out and give each other space !

Was so happy when our counselor thinks our marriage is going to be successful

I am so sorry that I haven’t really been writing.
Well, lately I have been doing all sorts of pre wedding stuff + renovation for the new apartment.

went to the pre martial counselling for the first session and I really enjoyed it.

The session is very different from what I saw on TV.
More importantly it teaches or reminds me how we fall in love with each other
how we can resolve problems and make sure our marriage is successful.

What I also love about this is that I have to try to think hard on my analysis on Daniel.
some answers surprises us but in fact it teaches me a lot about the reality of marriage.

Lets see how it goes.. but it doesn’t help doing some groundwork for a great marriage !

How’s life gonna change after that ?
How am I going to cope with the in laws and the new family ?
How would my relationship changes with my other half ?
What about a baby ?
What about NOT having a baby ?

One of the things I worry the most is that I will be complacent.
I won’t really dress up nor will I make an effort to go out on a date.

Esp. after having a baby.
I fear that I will become those mothers who have devoted so much into the family that I really don’t care how I look like – i know that’s really noble of those mothers but I don’t want to be wearing the same skirt that I bought 20 years ago.. and you can so tell that it was the from the 2007 Zara Fall collection because the color was hot back then.

There comes Victoria Beckham. I didn’t pay much attention to her until now, when she stormed into the Footballer’s Wife with her fake boobs and her crazy high heels.

At one point I was thinking you must be nuts to wear heels ALL THE TIME.

She is the fashion mama that still dress to impress in all occasions. I am not saying all of her collection was great, but if you look at how she looks when she is pregnant – she looks awesome. If you check out some of her collection on netaporter.com they are amazing.
At one point I was tempted to get her dresses !

She is the kind of woman you see on Vogue and fashion magazine. The modern mother who has a career and looks great (maybe with botox) and a family. 14 years ago I told myself I have to be a business woman and another 14 years from now I want to still be fashionable, sexy, stunning and manage them all.

Sorry folks, I am never a real fan of Angelina because I am not a supporter of husband stealers, or else she can be a fashion icon for me.

Bridezilla is always this crazy person who is obnoxious and difficult to deal with. She knows what she wants so much that she is actually going crazy. This is a combination of a bride and a Godzilla.
Always portrayed in a negative light.

Does anyone ever wonder why is there a Bridezilla ?

One has never been trying pull together a wedding will never know.

Do you ever think a bride wants to be a monster ?! I think this word suggests that she is a monster.

Let’s think about what a woman in this era needs to do :
- work and make money
- look good
- weddings are not getting less complicated if you compare to what happened in the history of mankind.

before there was internet, I am sure everyone has more time to get more things organized.

Today, these are some common scenarios you face :
when you have friends who don’t help out.. or actually gave u more workload for ur wedding
when you have people that bail on you
when you have vendors that don’t remembered what was discussed in the meeting and mess everything up
when you to do list is forever and people are really putting their own interest before you ..

do you blame a woman asking for what she wants ?
or do you offer to help ?

99% of the grooms I know prefer only to show you the night before the wedding because the women has taken care of anything and they pretty much got abit crazy by then.

And honestly, not be helpful for the couple, but also try to be helpful.
You have no idea that your little prompt (on time) response will really help to make someone go to bed 15 mins earlier everyday.

I say, having the person who believe in you.
Being able to drive through the obstacles while enjoying the ride.
a strong determination will help to make a hell of a difference.

I remembered in High School, you need to write down the goal you want to achieve when you are 21 or 26.
I remembered I put down I want to be a successful business woman.
I may not be on the cover of Forbes, but I think somehow I am here now.

As I am going through a new phrase in life (by getting married), maybe its time to write a new goal.
And this time, I will nail it.

In my eyes, every country has its ghetto.
That’s fine, because you cannot expect everything to be working out perfectly.

But the riots in UK really shocked me.
What are these people thinking ?
I honestly think they are making something out of nothing and seize the opportunity and steal and set fire to buildings.
Yes, you live in COuncil housing, and yes, you may not have a job.
Do you think by burning and stealing it can make you rich ?

What if someone rob from you and your family ?
Someone just decided to destroy your store instead ?

We worry about cancer, we worry about death, we worry about poisons and radiations.
But we forget the worst acts are always from the dark side of human beings.

Stop it, scumbags.
By robbing and stealing it doesn’t change your standard of living.

On the other hand, I am really proud of the volunteer groups that decided to clean up London
I don’t think this will ever happen in HK.

World Peace, such an easy thing to say, so hard to do.

I can’t help but begin to wonder if this is all worth it.
Is this really my cold feet ?
With all the challenges and situations I am facing, I am not too sure what the future holds for me.
I am so pessimistic that I have prepared the worst for everything.

Maybe my will power is going low, or maybe my drive and stamina is gone.
I felt like living in the darkest path, and the sun rays were no where to be found.

Once again, how long do I have to stay in the darkest hour before sun rise. Will the sun ever comes out for me?

I hate it when I have to argue with Dan, well afterall it is my life.

I have prepared for the worst and I am not looking back.
Who can live in the dark forever ?

I still remembered the first day I heard about this book, “Well after all it is a children’s fairytale!” I don’t remember how did I happen to watch the first movie. I was thinking, yeah it’s def a children’s movie.

Then, it came the 2nd movie, the third, the fourth, the fifth – this time, I am hooked.

The fifth is a big change dfor me. I was thinking this is no longer a children’s movie. This is entertaining and it’s telling me alot about life is not so black and white.

I really enjoy Harry Potter because ir reminds me why I wanted to go to boarding school in the first place. Every time I watched it, it reminds me about my boarding school life. I loved it, and of course there were days that I don’t, but I wouldn’t echange it for the world.

In the last episode, it shows us alot about people’s motives. Is he good or bad? Why doesn’t he talked about his brother? I enjoyed the little romance that poor Snape had with Harry Potter’s mother. Omg I smell a story building up around there.

Particulary, I enjoyed how Neville has grown. From a boy who got bullied by Draco to a young man who slated the snake. I really think that’s cool. Hey, does HP has to freaking do eveything himself or by Hermoine ?

Th love story of HP is pretty lame but I guess this is much better than Lord of the rings, that story is too black and white. As for HP you will always be missed. And no, I would not go to Harry Potter land. Somethings are left better with a bit of distance.

I really hope that one day when I search for something, my search engine will be showing me what people are saying as Tweets or Status updates. That will give me a better feeling of what the rest of the world is thinking.

Let’s hope this social media monster is going to this direction.. and it is definitely shaping my world !

Some said that with Google+ this is something I can expect really soon ..hmm

for those who still believe Social Media is a different genre or a different ball game, just to let you know Facebook has surpassed Google in terms of clicks and I believe that FB is the page we go to when we first jumped onto the internet every morning

Bring it on social media, I know you are going to rock my world.

I remembered when I was growing up I read about the story of Mohammed Ali but I have forgot what was it about.

These days, watching this documentary has made me realise a few things :
- Joe Frazier is the one i really respect. With his background and half blind condition for his professional boxing career, he kept it going
- Ali knows how to do marketing. if he wasn’t a boxer he can be a great PR guy !
- true fighting spirit and stamina is from Frazier. He was so determined to take Ali down that he risked dying !
- true apology is not one you had on TV, but to the person that you hurt

Funny enough now Frazier’s voicemail says something like “I dance like a butterfly, I sting like a bee”. If i was alive in the 60s I may have cheered for him all the way through.
